Hoggard Varsity Football Team
Craig Underwood started his career as a player at Hoggard from 1998 – 2001. He went on to play linebacker at Methodist College for 4 Years. He began his coaching career at Hoggard High School under Scott Braswell in 2006. He coached Linebackers for 5 years including the undefeated 2007 State Championship Season. He also served as Special Teams Coordinator from 2011 to 2014.
In the 2014 season when the Vikings went 13-1, Underwood served as the Interim Head Coach through the first six games. In his first full season as Head Coach, the team went 8-5 with a 2nd Round Playoff Berth. Coach Underwood is married to Nicole Underwood and has 3 children: Caroline, Cole
